Which fashion outlets are located in Tuscany?
There are three Outlets in Tuscany, all best accessed from
Florence or nearby.
• The Gucci outlet is in Leccio Reggello where you can buy last season's Gucci items at more than 50% off.
The Mall is located in Leccio and features Agnona, Bottega Veneta, Emanuel Ungaro, Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Hogan, La Perla, Loro Piana, Salvatore Ferravamo, Sergio Rossi, Tod’s, Valentino,
and Yves Saint Laurent.
• In Montevarchi there is a
Prada outlet, officially named "Lo Spaccio". Inside you'll find rows and rows of
Prada as well as Miu Miu, Jill Sander and Helmut Lang clothing, handbags and shoes, all at 60-70% off their regular retail prices. It is advised to arrive when the store opens.
• In March 2006,
McArthurGlen have opened the Barberino Fashion Outlet north of
Florence, with around 90 shops featuring the best brands with fashion products from previous seasons at prices cut by 30 to 70% all year round.

Will they have what I want? Outlet shopping is hit and miss. You could be very lucky, you might not find a thing to buy, you might find something you'd never thought of. Nothing is certain. Even the staff at the outlet cannot be sure from day to day what stock they will have.
Can purchases be shipped home for me? Sending this type of fashion merchandise abroad would breach trade agreements and undercut the flagship stores. If you want outlet prices, you must make the effort to go to the outlet.
Will the staff at the outlets speak English? Yes, and they will also know international sizing.
Is this the real thing? Yes! These are genuine Gucci and Prada fashion items, not the trashy counterfeit items sold in other countries.
