You may ask to taste a wine before buying and at the larger wineries vertical tastings of Tuscan wines can be arranged, especially if you are staying at a vacation rental on the same property.

Podere San Cresci abuts the 10 C pieve (parish church) of the same name, in the Chianti hills near Monteforalle and above Greve in Chianti. In addition to a Chianti Classico and Riserva, both containing a small percentage of Cabernet Franc, Sergio Ballini, the owner and winemaker, produces a truly excellent table wine from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. Antico Borgo di Sugame

Antico Borgo di Sugame is located between Greve in Chianti and Dudda and produces a Chianti Classico from Sangiovese grapes plus a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon. Il Molino di Grace, Panzano in Chianti Il Molino di Grace has developed in less than ten years into one of the foremost quality wine producers in Italy and has gained world-wide attention for its Chianti Classico and IGT Toscana Il Margone, a 100% sangiovese "super-Tuscan". The consulting oenologist is Franco Bernabei of Greve in Chianti. The property is located at Volano near Panzano in Chianti and groups may visit the winery by appointment. Az. Agr. Savignola Paolina Az. Agr. Savignola Paolina, near Lamole, Panzano and Greve in Chianti, produces high quality wines and organises tastings of their own wines for up to 8 to 10 persons in their antique olive oil pressing cellar. More about Savignola Paolina.

Agriturismo Casa Nova

Agriturismo Casa Nova La Ripintura, located on the outskirts of Greve in Chianti, produces Chianti Classico red wine as well as white table wine and olive oil. Agriturismo Patrizia Falciani Agriturismo Patrizia Falciani, near Greve in Chianti, produces wine and olive oil that is bottled under the label of neighbouring Terre di Melazzano.
